There is something about this photo.
It’s mesmerizing.
Something about it speaks to me and says the word “manly” like a hushed whisper across the plains.
Maybe the man is a gigolo or he has a thing for much older women?

What is really odd is that the old lady already has a pail in front of her. It’s as if she was planning on spitting that liquid out prior to attempted consumption.

I feel like I’m supposed to circle everything wrong with this picture. I think the six-fingered man is the pimp, waiting for that rotary phone to ring, with someone callin’ for tricks. Obviously, the one with her slip showing is going out first. What I don’t get is the symbol on the wall with the flag. Is he government funded? Maybe, it’s an “escort service” for veterans.

It´s a photo made by David La Chappelle. He bought a lot of photos in secondhand stores and added things to them. It´s a part of a series.
